Though they share a name with their more famous mountain cousins, the lowland nyala is actually more closely related to the bushbuck. Their horns have the same unique grain and twist to them, yet are much larger, with shofarot measuring up to 16 inches in length. In addition, their sound is more powerful than the bushbuck, having a deep, low tone reminiscent of a blackbuck or blesbok horn.
Lowland nyala shofarot are very hard to come by so make sure to get your's now while stocks last.
Our Shofarot are hand made in small quantities and finished with a natural vegetable oil coating. We take care to boil our horns before production to ensure they are fully sterile and take every precaution to make sure they are 100% kosher.
Our signature natural finish retains the beauty of the horn while keeping it still somewhat smooth to the touch. Unlike other, mirror polished shofarot, you can see the grain, the imperfections, the ridges and valleys on every one of our shofarot.
All our shofarot make perfects gitfts, be they wedding presents, bar/batmitzvah presents or any other special occasion.
